What is your company role?

Staff Therapist

What do you specialize in?

Children, Adolescents, & Couples. I also work with the Veteran and First Responder community.

Why did you decide to become a therapist? What is your favorite part of your job?

Oh. That’s a loaded question, but in short, I wanted to help break the mental health stigma that is still very prevalent in our society today. I want to help give people a voice when they feel like they have lost their own. Also to give everyone a safe space that they can feel confident, comfortable, and themselves in! Along with a multitude of other reasons, of course, but too long to name here! Meeting people and giving them the tools to be successful in their lives. Helping others be the best version of themselves is important to me, because I think it helps me to create the best version of myself. I also have pretty fantastic coworkers that make work enjoyable.

What do you like to do for fun?

Well, I love to hang out with my family and friends. I love to ride horses and hang with my bunnies Stanley & Opal. I am a mom to a 16 year old, so whenever he lets me- I like to hang out with him too. I love to travel, surf, and fish. I am a pretty decent fisherman!

What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite movie?

Anything horror related. I love A League of their Own, Field of Dreams, and I also love the Sandlot. I sense a commonality here that I didn’t catch before… ⚾️🏟🧢

What is your favorite food?

Hibachi fried rice with yum yum sauce. Put a fork in me, I’m done!

What is your favorite book/podcast?

True Crime podcast, and my favorite book is the BFG.

What is your favorite music?

I’m a country kid, but my favorite is the Old Crow Medicine Show. I am a big fan of Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Johnny Cash, and Tom Petty.

What is your favorite season?

Fall for sure, only because my favorite holiday is in it (Halloween), but I do love summer too!!

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I despise mornings and they are quite literally the bane of my existence. I’m not sure if it’s because of the military and being up at 4am to go running, but it is not for me anymore. I am definitely a night owl for sure!

Do you have a self-care routine?

Honestly, I like my time with myself, to be with my own head. I also love baths, and snuggles from my dogs. Retail therapy and music also never fail me! I really need to also find time to go to the gym.

Do you have any pets?

I do! It feels like I have a farm! Horses, dogs, bunnies, and I am trying to talk my husband into a mini cow. 🤷🏽‍♀️🐮

What is a topic you wish you knew more about?

I think that would be DID. Dissociative Identity Disorder. I think it’s very intriguing and I always want to get into the weeds of the most intricate of minds.

Which celebrity would you want to meet the most and why?

Jackie Robinson. I love baseball, and I’d wanna talk to him about what it was like for him back then, and talk about how he paved the way for Baseball players today!

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I love to fish. I pretty much out fish everyone! I am also really creative and crafty. I love DIY, and building things!

Where is your favorite place to eat?

Ohhhh I love Wu’s House! It’s a hibachi place. However, I do love homemade Mac and cheese as well! Hard toss up!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

I think I would want to shapeshift into whatever I wanted. If I wanted to be a goblin, I could. If I wanted to be a wolf, I could. Heck, if I wanted to be a celebrity-I could! 😂 Weird right?
