I am currently a master’s student completing my training at Benedictine University, and I am pleased to meet you. I strive to provide a person-centered approach in which clients feel genuinely heard and understood through validation and support in exploring their inner world. I value collaboration and aim to create a reflective space that encourages self-directed growth. While I am particularly interested in working with adolescents and young adults, I remain open to supporting clients across the lifespan as part of my ongoing training and professional development. In my free time, I enjoy listening to podcasts, challenging myself in the gym, and enjoying good food.
Wendy is a client-centered therapist who believes that therapy should fit you, not the other way
around. She draws from an eclectic mix of evidence-based approaches, including:
✔ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to help shift unhelpful thought patterns
✔ Gestalt Therapy – often including creative, dramatic roleplay techniques
✔ Existential Therapy – to explore meaning, purpose, and identity
✔ Motivational Interviewing – to help you tap into your own strengths and motivation
Each session is tailored to your needs, goals, and pace. Wendy would be honored to walk with you as you discover greater clarity, healing, and joy.
