It seems that no matter how young or old we are, life will hand us plenty of challenges. Wendy has been through a number of challenging times herself and, with the right tools, has been able to work through them and find peace and success. She would love to journey alongside you as you do the same – whatever your heartaches and dreams may be. Having worked eight years in education (in school counselor, teaching, and nurse roles) Wendy absolutely loves helping teens, children, and college-aged young adults to find success in school and beyond. At the tail end of raising five children, Wendy has an idea of the complexity, challenges and joys of family life and enjoys being a safe space for parents. She finds it an honor to work with adults across all stages of life, from pregnancy through the golden years. Her holistic background in both mental and physical health informs her whole-person approach to therapy. No matter your age or circumstance, Wendy is committed to helping you feel seen, heard, and empowered as you heal and grow.
Wendy is a client-centered therapist who believes that therapy should fit you, not the other way
around. She draws from an eclectic mix of evidence-based approaches, including:
