We’ve partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.
We’re a cash-pay practice and we want reimbursement to feel as simple as possible on your end. To reduce the administrative load, we host Mentaya, a platform that helps you submit your superbills to your insurance plan with less time, fewer steps, and clearer tracking.
Quick Insurance Note (So You’re Not Guessing)
• We are not accepting Aetna, Cigna, or United at this time.
• We are a cash-pay model, and we are in-network with one plan:
• BCBS PPO
• BlueChoice PPO
If you have a different plan, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. Mentaya helps with that process.
Step 1: Pay for Your Session As Usual
You’ll continue paying our standard session fee at the time of service (cash-pay).
Step 2: Request Your Superbill (If You Don’t Already Receive It)
We’ll provide a superbill that includes the details insurance typically requires (provider information, service dates, CPT codes, diagnosis code when clinically appropriate, and total paid).
If you’re not sure whether you already receive a superbill automatically, contact our team, and we’ll help you confirm.
Step 3: Use Mentaya to Submit Your Superbill
1. Locate your superbill (PDF is best).
2. Click our Mentaya link on this page.
3. Follow the prompts to enter your insurance details (this usually takes just a few minutes the first time).
4. Upload your superbill.
5. Submit.
Mentaya will guide you through the process and help reduce the back-and-forth that often happens when submitting claims.
Step 4: Track Your Claim Status
After submission, you’ll be able to see updates and next steps inside Mentaya. If additional information is required by your insurance company, Mentaya will prompt you with what to do.
Step 5: Receive Reimbursement (When Approved)
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits (or you are in-network with BCBS PPO / BlueChoice PPO), your insurance may reimburse you according to your benefits.

Effective February 2, 2026, Authentic Growth Wellness Group will transition to Private Pay and remain in-network only with BCBS PPO & BlueChoice PPO plans. We’ll no longer be in-network with Aetna, Cigna, or UnitedHealthcare.
