Lana Batzova

Lana is passionate about helping individuals navigate through life’s difficulties, transitions, and working collaboratively to discover more healing, peace, purpose, happiness, and empowerment. Many individuals can begin their therapy journey feeling overwhelmed with emotions, stuck, feeling frustrated, and could be experiencing anxiety, grieving, having interpersonal relationship struggles, and using ineffective coping skills. Lana believes that therapy can be a place of hope and possibility, by providing a safe, and supportive therapeutic space.

About Lana

Lana has experience working with individuals on trauma, PTSD, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, life transitions, social skills, impulsive behaviors, anger, and interpersonal relationship issues. Lana uses an integrative approach to counseling that includes but is not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, IFS, Motivational Therapy, Expressive arts, Mindfulness-based stress reduction, and EMDR therapy. Lana received her master’s in counseling from Concordia University and received her EMDR training at the EMDR Institute. Lana is currently in process of completing her level two complex trauma certification.

Lana’s goal is to help clients learn to cope with life’s challenges in healthy ways, make healthy decisions, and to gain a better understanding of themselves. Lana believes that by taking a holistic approach, the individual can be more self-aware and continue their journey of growth and healing. In her free time, Lana enjoys weightlifting, yoga, drawing, and spending time with her loved ones and furry pets.
