New Moms Support Groups

We have two group offerings:
1. New Postpartum Moms who are understandably experiencing overwhelm and suffering from anxiety;
2. Toddler Moms navigating through their little ones’ big feelings as well as their own.

Children + Parents of Adoption (Many Offerings)

Liz Vohasek, our advanced Master’s-level counseling intern, will be leading these group offerings for children, adolescents/”tweens”, and teens of adoption:
1. Children of Adoption (6-8 years old).
2. Adolescents/Tweens of Adoption (9-12 years old).
3. Teens of Adoption (13-19 years old).
4. Parents of Adoption.

"Little Sprouts!"🪴 Mini Play Therapy Group

This is a mini play therapy group for toddlers 2-3.5 years old (with their 1 parent), and would benefit from peer interaction with guidance and support from a licensed clinical therapist providing a child-centered play therapy experience. This is a safe, cozy space to learn about and experience peer interactions, sharing/taking turns, and absorbing social skills.
There are 4 maximum spaces for this group.

"Good Buds!"🪴Boys' Group (10-12 years old)

This is a small group (6-8 spots) of male-identifying kiddos who are interested in meeting in a safe space to discuss emotions, learn about coping strategies and mindfulness to reduce worries, and receive support from peers, towards the goals of building confidence, self-efficacy, while reducing symptoms of depression/anxiety. "Flower Power!"🌼 Girls' Empowerment Group (10-12 years old)

This is a small group (6-8 spots) of female-identifying kiddos who are interested in meeting in a safe space to discuss emotions, learn about coping strategies and mindfulness to reduce worries, feel empowered, and receive support from peers, towards the goals of building confidence, self-efficacy, while reducing symptoms of depression/anxiety.
